Pepper Steak Stir Fry

Help!!!! I need some new dinner ideas.?
Im so burnt out on making and eating the same things for dinner! Im looking for something new to make. We are a family of 6 and on a budget to a degree. Below are some of the normal things I make week in and week out! anything “fresh and new” would be awesome!
Smothered burritos (homemade green chili and beans)
Tacos
Tostadas
Stuffed peppers
Stir fry or beef n broccli
cheeseburgers
pork chops (shake n bake)
chix fried steak
fried chix
Chix alfredo
Spaghetti
any new ideas?!
we do eat veggies! In fact our family loves fresh fruit and veggies and both are included in ALL meals. I just listed the main course in the meal, not the side dishes. Also, for the record none of are overweight! Thanks!
Basic White Sauce – this is the basis for many recipes (tripe recipe for 6, might want to make it quadruple if you have big eaters)
6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons flour
3 cups milk
1. Melt butter over medium heat in a medium saucepan.
2. Add the flour to make a roux.
3. Add the milk all at once and whisk (they key, don’t just stir with a spoon) until thickened and bubbles break the surface. Remove from heat and add one from below.
Creamed tuna, chicken or salmon
Flake 2-3 (6oz) cans of tuna, chicken breast or salmon into the sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over 12 (2 per person) diced slices of toast.
You can also make eggs goldenrod by adding 6 diced hard boiled eggs and also serving it over toast, usually eaten for breakfast.
Alfredo sauce
Add 1/2 cup shredded parmesan and a dash of nutmeg. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve over fettuccine or other cooked noodles.
Italian Roasted Chicken and Vegetables
6-8 chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
6-8 potatoes, peeled and diced
6-8 carrots, peeled and sliced
2 onions, diced
1 celery heart, sliced
1 bottle italian dressing, I use wish bone
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. In very large ceramic Dutch Oven or a casserole dish, place the chicken in the bottom. Pour italian dressing over to cover and toss to make sure it’s all coated. Dump the vegetables on top. Cover them with the dressing as well.
3. Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake another 30-45 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired. This will fill the entire house with a wonderful smell and it tastes just as good. I have never made such a big batch (it’s just 2 of us) so you may have to adjust the cooking time.
Oven Roasted Chicken Breast with Rosemary Potatoes
6 chicken breasts
Olive oil
Minced garlic
Drizzle the olive oil and minced garlic over the chicken breasts on cookie sheets. Bake in the oven at 400 for 20 minutes, turning half way.
6 potatoes
Olive oil with a drop of white truffle olive oil, optional
garlic powder
crushed rosemary
thyme
Dice the potatoes and boil for 20 minutes or until tender and then drain. Whisk together olive oil and herbs in a glass with a fork, you will want just enough to cover. Either drizzle the olive oil on top on plates, or toss in a bowl to coat and then plate.
You can also serve this with steamed vegetables on the side, I really like using the ziplock steam bags.
