Granite Worktops-The Ultimate Kitchen Worktops
Worktops have become an integral part of modern kitchens. In the past they were just simple surfaces on which you could perform cooking jobs but today they are being used for more than that. There are worktops that double up as an eating area where the family can have a quick breakfast or snack. Resistance to heat – When you have a cooker installed in the worktop, then it is important that the countertop is resistant to heat. This reduces the dangers of fires starting up as you wait in the living room for the stew in the kitchen to simmer. Granite is capable of resisting heat and you can cook with an easy mind.
Cost effective – Compared to marble, countertops made of granite are more cost effective. They serve the same purpose, look just as attractive and will last just as long as those made of marble but at a fraction of the cost.
